Rapper Pop Smoke killed in home invasion, officials confirm

 POP SMOKE SHOT DEAD

The rapper Pop Smoke was killed during a home invasion at a Hollywood Hills, California, residence early Wednesday, a police official and federal law enforcement source confirmed to CNN.

He was 20 years old and enjoying the success of his sophomore mixtape, which was released last week.

Police held a press conference about the home invasion, but did not release the rapper's name.

Law enforcement received a call just before 5 a.m. ET (8 a.m. ET) from "someone back East" who reported that one of their friend's homes was being broken into and that one of the suspects was armed with a handgun, said Los Angeles Police Department Capt. Steve Lurie, commanding officer of the Hollywood area.

Inside, officers found a man who had been shot. He was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was pronounced dead hours later, the captain said. It's unclear who owns the house, he said.

Selena Gomez and Jaden Smith met for dinner in London on Thursday, with the two close friends in England for their respective singing and acting duties respectively.
Gomez, 20, and 14 year old Smith were seen together at Hakkasan restaurant, sparking a wave of fan activity as word got out that the two stars were out and about.

Smith is currently promoting his new upcoming sci-fi film, "After Earth," which also features his dad, Will. The young star, who is increasingly becoming one of Hollywood's top young actors, was seen in a black jacket as he escorted Gomez out for dinner.

Meanwhile, Gomez also wore a long black coat for their dinner date, to match her sheer black dress. The singer had taken to social media site Twitter on Wednesday to inform her fans that she was not feeling too well, but on Thursday she seemed to be much better.

On Wednesday she had tweeted, "Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today. I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible."
She added, "I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow. So Sorry Love you guys."

Gomez has been at the center of rumors for months about whether she had gotten back together with her long-term on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. They were seen together at the Billboard Music Awards 2013 recently, where Bieber had a good night, winning the award for Top Male Artist, as well as the Milestone Award.
After his win, Bieber said, "I want to thank all my fans. I want to thank my whole family, thank you guys so much."

In his acceptance speech he said, "I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job. And basically, from my heart, I just really want to say it should really be about the music.
"This is not a gimmick.
 I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously. And all this other bull should not be spoken of. I wanna thank my manager, Scooter Braun."

He added, "I wanna thank my family at home. I wanna thank my mother, my father, I wanna thank Jesus Christ. Mom, I love you so much. Dad, I love you. Little brother and sister, I love you so much. Thank you guys so much. Fans, you're incredible."

During the night's show, Gomez kicked off the awards with a performance of her new single "Come and Get It." She later introduced Taylor Swift as she performed "22."
Meanwhile, Bieber took to the stage to perform "Take You," and later also performed with Will.i.am for his song "#thatPOWER."

HOW TO BUILD MUSCLE FAST

Here are 5 Things that affect how fast you build muscle:

1. Training Age
   Your training age is how long you’ve been lifting weights.  If you’re a newbie, you will be able to gain more muscle faster than if you’ve been lifting for many years.


2. Hormonal Profile
   The amount of testosterone and other muscle building hormones in your body can vary because (1) your lifting regimen does not help elicit a testosterone response (i.e. not lifting legs, or not lifting heavy enough), or (2) your body simply doesn’t produce as much testosterone…which brings me to the next variable.
3. Genetics
   There is a concept of a genetic bell curve, which I discussed in the maximum muscle potential article.  To summarize, some men are naturally inclined to build a lot of muscle because of factors such as hormonal balance, or the thickness of their frames whereas others have trouble building much muscle no matter how hard they try.  Most people of course by definition (roughly 68%) are genetically average.
4. Muscle Memory
   If you are 180lb then you decided to train for a marathon, you may lose a solid 20lb of muscle.  So how long will it take you to gain back those 20lb of muscle back?  Answer: Not long at all.  Maybe only a 1-2 months, because your body has a mechanism for restoring the previous homeostasis, which is often referred to as “muscle memory”.
5. Supplements
   Heavy duty supplements like steroids, or other potentially harmful, performance enhancing substances that can help you build muscle much faster, but I’m assuming you are far too smart to do that!  Other less dangerous, but still potentially harmful substances like Creatine can aid in muscle growth as well.

Gangnam Style to break Justin Bieber's YouTube record

Gangnam Style is on the verge of overtaking Justin Beiber's track Baby as the most-watched video ever on YouTube.

 

At time of writing, the the Korean pop mega hit had accumulated almost 795 million views since it was posted on 15 July this year. Baby, which has been available since February 2010, had 803 million views.

With Gangnam Style attracting about 11 million views per day compared to Bieber's one million, it is due to take the crown this weekend.

The song, which pokes fun at the fashion-conscious denizens of a wealthy district of Seoul, has powered its singer, Psy, to global stardom. An array of public figures including the sculptor Anish Kapoor, Zara Phillips and Ban Ki Moon have copied his "horse riding" dance.

In October Gangnam Style also became the first Korean song to top the official UK pop chart.

Jespite their YouTube rivalry, since achieving stardom in the West, Psy has reportedly signed up with Justin Bieber's management company and said the pair will work on a song together.

A music video for Diggy Simons's new single, "4 Letter Word", has been made available for viewing pleasure. In the four-minute clip, the 17-year-old rapper has to deal with the pain of being separated from the girl he loves. Each time he tries to enjoy his time together with his girlfriend, her disapproving father is there to take her away from him.

The fourth son of Run's DMC Rev Run released the clip on the same day he received two nominations for the 2012 BET awards. Justin Bieber releases 'Beauty and a Beat' music video featuring Nicki Minaj

On Oct. 12 Canadian pop recording artist Justin Bieber released an official music video for his song "Beauty and a Beat" featuring Nicki Minaj on his VEVO YouTube channel. The music video is shot in a documentary style, and revolves around a pool party at Raging Waters in San Dimas, Calif..

The music video begins with thirty-seconds worth of footage from Bieber's personal camera. The rest of the video consists of Bieber hanging out at a large pool party at Raging Waters. For most of the music video, Bieber is directing a hand-held camera. The last forty-five seconds consists of behind the scene footage of the music video. The last shot is of Justin Bieber filming himself as he rides down a long slide at Raging Waters.

The song "Beauty and a Beat" features rapper Nicki Minaj and it is the third single from his most recent studio album, "Believe". The album was released on June 15 via Island Records/RBMG and it debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Cher Lloyd steps up US assault with Ellen DeGeneres and Jay Leno slots

 
The former X Factor contestant is going down a storm across the pond and joined Ellen on her chatshow to perform her song Want U Back.

Cher dressed to impress, wearing a short pink dress and white top during her performance, before being joined by the host, who was clutching a copy of her album Sticks + Stones.

The album is due out in America today and the 19-year-old is hoping it will chart higher than the number four it reached in the UK last year.
